    Prices and specifications subject to change without notice. PERMA-WRAP reserves the right to correct pricing errors on any/all print or electronic media.

    Warranty

    PERMA-WRAP warrants its products for quality materials and workmanship. If within 30 days of purchase your PERMA-WRAP Repair Kits break during ordinary use, PERMA-WRAP will inspect and replace failed parts. Replacement of failed parts is the sole remedy available under this warranty. PERMA-WRAP is not responsible for shipping cost, time lost, damage to equipment or property or any rental income/expense.

    Payment Terms

    PERMA-WRAP™ accepts cash, check*, Visa**, MasterCard**, American Express** and Discover** cards. PERMA-WRAP™ also accepts Paypal, and Paypal Credit.

    PERMA-WRAP also has in-house financing (through parent company, GNE) and also through PayPal's BillMeLater.

    IMPORTANT POLICY CHANGE REGARDING CREDIT / DEBIT CARD PROCESSING.
    Please read as this change may affect your available funds when placing orders

    • Effective immediately your credit/debit card will be authorized (funds held) for the full amount of your order, whereas previously this amount was $1.  When you place an order, PERMA-WRAP™ contacts the issuing bank to confirm the validity of the payment method. Your bank reserves the total funds of the order until the transaction processes in full or the authorization expires, but this isn't an actual charge. The authorization will be removed from your account according to the policies of your bank and actual charges will appear on your card at the time of shipment (or shipments).  This policy is in line with other leading online retailers, car rental agencies, hotels, etc. and will assist us in getting your product out in the timeliest manner possible.
    • Please contact your bank to clarify how long they hold authorizations, as this policy can vary greatly by institution.  If you have any questions regarding the terms and conditions of your debit or credit card, contact your financial institution using the telephone number found on the back of your card.

    SALES TAX

    If you qualify as a Sales Tax Exempt Business in the states listed below you, please submit a completed, signed, and currently dated Resale and or Exemption Certificates for all applicable states for your business; email to ar@gnedi.com or fax to 763-428-4821, for Great Northern Equipment to keep on file. Your account will be charged sales tax until we receive this form.

    Great Northern Equipment Distributing Inc. holds nexus or economic nexus in the following 32 states:

    *We collect  simplified sellers use tax on transaction(s) delivered into Alabama and the tax will be remitted on the customer’s behalf to the Alabama Department of Revenue. Seller’s program account number is SSU-R010053684

    Providing this information will ensure that your purchases with Great Northern Equipment will be processed as tax exempt.


    If submitting “Uniform Sales & Use Tax Certificate – Multi-jurisdiction” note that the following states do not accept this form – IN, MS and LA.


    Exemption Certificates are legal documents, should you have any questions regarding exemption certificates, sales tax compliance issues, or state sales tax laws and how it pertains to your business, please contact that State’s Department of Revenue.

     

    Great Northern Equipment Tax Strategy:


    Great Northern Equipment strives to be transparent in all aspects of business including sales tax.  The 2018 “Wayfair decision” has significantly changed the sales tax compliance landscape for many sellers including Great Northern Equipment.  Our in-house finance team works to monitor the compliance requirements in each state and is actively working to evaluate our nexus in each taxing jurisdiction.  When nexus is found we take the appropriate steps to be compliant including registering, collecting and remitting sales tax.  We recognize that many of our customers may be exempt from sales tax.  As part of our compliance efforts, we’ll reach out to collect exemption certificates.  We utilize an external vendor to maintain exemption certificates, provide tax rates, and file tax returns.
